Major Event Sponsors

We are looking for select people to spearhead major fundraising events for us throughout the country. We have ideas on events, but are completely open to anything within reason. Contact us for more information.

Donor Fundraising

Campaign Sponsors

Individual donors represent 84% of all charitable donations, far outpacing corporate contributions. We are looking for help “spreading the knowledge” that will bring change. If you have a set of people (friends, co-workers, neighbors) or groups (faith based, youth, etc) you would like to target for an informational campaign, we can give you what you need to gracefully introduce the Smiles From Nicholas organization. Once set up to run, this is an easy annual or bi-annual event to send out to targeted groups, and an easy and very effective way to raise funds and spread word about smiles from Nicholas. Administrative

Newsletter Manager

We all get newsletters from groups we belong to, alumni associations, among many others. Some we read, some we don’t. We are good on information, but not so good on creativity, so we’re looking for a creative person(s) to create a monthly newsletter to update the Smiles family. We’ll provide the information, you put it together in a format that wants people to read on! Contact us for more information on how you can help.

Communications Team

Whether it’s email, mailers, or phone calls, communication with companies and donors is a vital role in making sure our donors keep coming back. We are looking for individuals that can help with this role. We’ll give you what you need, and we’ll look to you to help us with the contacts. Whether it’s an hour a week or 5+ hours a week contact us for more information on how your volunteer time can help the foundation.

Legal Advisory Counsel

As a Non-Profit Organization, there are changing requirements that we need to ensure we know about and abide by. As a national organization running fund raisers, we need to ensure the Smiles from Nicholas team and funds are protected from liability risks. We need our lawyer friends to help in this area. If you can help, or know of someone who can, PLEASE contact us. This is an important function, especially as we continue to grow the organization.

Accountant Assistance

While we will be able to address the day to day accounting and financial needs, we need someone that can help with State and Federal filings, as well as ensuring we are following the rules. Again, these change often and we need accountant assistance to make sure we know what we can and can’t do. Please contact us for more information or if you can help us.

Public Relations (PR)

This is a critical role in getting the Smiles from Nicholas mission spread publicly as quickly and efficiently as possible. From creating an electronic press kit, to contacting local and national media outlets to spread our story, to helping us manage the media contacts that come in, this is key in the Smiles from Nicholas team looking our best! So how do we make sure we do our best getting this very important story out – with help from our friends in marketing! Ensuring that the Smiles from Nicholas Web site remains a key resource for the Cerebral Palsy and Pediatric Cancer supporters and families is a daunting task.
